Sewing Tip: Patterns seam allowances
One way to keep my favorites sewing patterns, those that I know I will use many more times, is to glue them onto a more resistant paper. I use standard brown wrapping paper, it is pretty cheap and easy to get (Aldi, Lidl, Deutsche Post).

Then I cut the sewing patterns including seam allowances. With this method I ensure that the seam allowances are perfectly measured (in sewing, accuracy is important), and that I avoid mistakes when cutting the fabric later, and above all, it helps me to save time.
I usually leave 1 cm of seam allowance for children’s clothing and 1.5 cm for adult clothing.
